But unlike others, Danny place ethics and honour over cash temptation. He reported he had discovered the tote. Luckily, his truthfulness paid off, as the Overseas Filipino Worker who possessed the bag gave him Php 14,000 ($300) as a benefit.

Danny Namion really is the picture of truthfulness. Had he gotten caught and kept the tote, he’d have been fired and so he’d lose his only means of supporting his family. Happily, his ethics paid off and he was rewarded with about a month’s wages and the admiration of netizens all around the globe.
